Human Routes is an independent consultancy practice led by Janice Attersley whose Human Resource (HR) expertise is widely recognized across Canada.
Janice Attersley has had a lifelong passion in believing that the human element is what drives success at work. Her 25 years of diverse experience has included working at the pinnacle of both private and public sector organizations in guiding human resource policy and practice. Janice knows that for any workplace to compete today, organizations need to harness their greatest asset for success --- THEIR PEOPLE! She offers a wide range of key HR services as well as specialty services aimed at enhancing company productivity (for corporate clients), as well as maximizing individual success and performance (for individual clients). In summary she helps people navigate the best paths to success by helping clients understand and effectively respond to the complexities of workforce issues facing people today.
Janice is a certified Human Resources Practitioner (C.H.R.P.) and has also achieved the most senior HR designation possible (S.H.R.P.). She has operated her award-winning HR practice in both Alberta and Ontario. She holds a Bachelor or Science Degree (B.Sc.) from McMaster University, has taken numerous Master's level coursework in Community Health from the University of Calgary, and is a graduate of the prestigious Banff School of Management Executive Program. She continues to take other related post-graduate training courses and seminars in a variety of human resource program areas including conflict management, diversity, disability management, absenteeism and strategic HR studies.
A frequent key note speaker, community philanthropist and workshop leader, Janice travels across the country addressing a variety of audiences with her humour and insight into the salient "people issues" facing organizations today.
